Budget car insurance is cheap - but the service is outstanding. I haven't been driving long and I had a small accident which wasnt my fault. I had been with Budget only a few weeks but I found they were more than helpful.

As a novice I had very little idea what to do, althogh I did make sure I got the other drivers name and details. I phoned them and was rather worried because I didnt have a clue who had to claim or what.

Having taken my worries onboard, the telephone operator calmly went through what I had to do and assured me that I wasnt at fault. I was told I didnt have to claim anything and that they would even deal with his company to ensure I recieved the correct amount etc.. should I encounter any troubles!

Thankfully the mess is now sorted and my car repaired (only minor repair was needed to a rear light which was hit). It wasn't a claim case, but it was comforting to know they were there to advise me even when it wasn't really anything to do with them, I wasnt claiming!.

I now wouldn't change, especially with the competitive price I recieved for my insurance which was substantially lower than the AA offered me. I am only 18 so obviously my age means the amount can fluctuate more, but I saved almost £50 on the AA quote! Amazing all round, highly recommended.
